Lockheed Martin’s acquisition of Aerojet Rocketdyne faces limbo after FTC information swimsuit

The Federal Commerce Fee has filed a lawsuit to dam Lockheed Martin’s $4.4 billion acquisition of Aerojet Rocketdyne, saying that the deal would “give Lockheed the flexibility to chop off different protection contractors from the crucial elements they should construct competing missiles.” On this week’s submitting, the FTC says Lockheed has already sought unsuccessfully to maintain Aerojet from offering crucial propulsion applied sciences to Lockheed’s rivals. In response, Lockheed Martin notes that it “might elect to defend the lawsuit or terminate the merger settlement.” Aerojet’s facility in Redmond, Wash., performs a lead function in constructing in-space propulsion methods.
